Halley Bay - 2001

Jim Keir confesses:

I was just using the Z-Fids site to look somebody up when I noticed the midwinter photo from 2001. A little bit of trivia for you; this photo, which was the official one sent out from Halley, was one I doctored to have two Dave Glynns. The real one (I think!) is behind Ricky Borthwick in the bar but there's a copy of him behind Doc Tom.

Apparently this wasn't noticed by anyone in Cambridge for some time, but eventually got noticed by someone who had to pass the photo round other people and ask them to count the winterers because he always came up with 17! [18 January 2006]
