[In reply to Gavin Francis.]
I expect there will be a few comments on stuffing Penguin chicks; I have one here (am I allowed to admit that?) that I stuffed in '92 and is still in perfect condition. All I did was skin the chick, ie cut its belly open, turned it inside out and removed the body including the skull, then stuffed it with some straw that had been used for packing something. I used some black polythene inside the head for eyes. Then sewed it up carefully and left it to dry. My only complaint is that the neck ended up a bit long, I will get that right next time(!)[21 March 2010]
