Circumnavigating the outside of the Halley II buildings

by Malcolm 'Bloke' Guyatt

I think the lounge hut was the favourite, and I think it was Roger Tiffin who did that with me - there may have been others? At that time pressure was beginning to crush the buildings in some places, yet there was void space around others. I think the thought was that it might have been possible to 'wizzle-off' the pressure points and extend the life of the building. I don't think it was actually done though.
