Ian says: The photos are of the IH we lost in the crossing; it's interesting to compare the relative snow levels when we lost it compared to the photos on your site when it was recovered. In that short space of time the ice level in the area seems to have dropped considerably. It also makes it more obvious why we didn't attempt recovery at the time.
